We've already proven we can handle decent-ish opponents on our home floor with ease. And we can clearly blow inferior competition out of the water, when we're playing well.

But with St. John's, we'll have to face a fairly evenly-matched opponent with some experience on a neutral floor. They were bad last year but not totally hapless, and they are off to a terrific start this year, granted against weak to middle-of-the-road competition.

Beating St. John's doesn't mean we're even necessarily NCAA Tournament ready, but I think a loss would be a setback. This is the type of team we should be able to beat on a neutral floor if we're ready for primetime.

Either way, I think winning at least one of the next two games will bode really well for us. Win or lose against SJU, the next opponent on Sunday is either a Big 12 contender or a potential NCAA Tournament team out of the American.

Two losses and I'll be nervous. One loss and the jury will still be out. Two wins and I think we can feel pretty good.
