having advanced knowledge of MPJ's status.
The news surely contributed to their performance against Emporia, and probably Utah as well.
Hopefully the MPJ news/drama is behind them and they can focus on the season and reaching the NCAA tournament. Today's dominant performance was a good indication that the team has accepted it and moved on.
