lone SEC university in football hub of state of Texas, at a major university, has big donors, big & expensive stadium.
But Sumlin has settled into a very steady 8 wins per season, no more or less. Maybe that's his ceiling.
If he was more inconsistent with a season of double digit victories followed by a season of six wins, he might be there until he retires.
