Must have said 'Lenth" 1,000 times. How do the kids watching respond to this?
Now I know the emergence of Ebonics has made it cool (in some circles) to try to sound intelligent by sounding incredibly stupid by acting as if consonants that are not silent are (silent).
Dick Vitale has been saying "strenth" & "lenth" for years now, but classic Mizzou v. ku games show that hasn't always been so. Its just since he and other sports color commentators got more real or "rill."
