James redshirts - learns the system - and then as a redshirt freshman, begins his 4 years as Mizzou's starting QB after Lock leaves.
Either way, it's a great situation he's walking into.
And Barry Odom is finally putting his mark on the defense - with all of the youngsters we've got on that side of the ball - it's only going to improve.
We will have a complete football team going forward.
The fact that it took Barry a season and a half - it's taken other successful coaches much longer to turn a program and a team around.
The mess of 2015 is now in our rear view mirror.......
