for Drew, I hope he realizes that. His family is doing fine financially, he doesn't need to rush off for that reason. He also has to be aware of Gabbert's current situation. it's pretty evident Blaine should have stayed & gotten himself more college starts. Those extra 12-or-so starts could be the difference between being a backup journeyman or being a 10 year starter. Drew is smart so I would literally be shocked if he split after this year.

Beckner on the other hand needs to put himself on ice after the Ark game, & definitely no bowl game for him. I know no one wants to hear that, but after all he's given to the team over the years, he needs to just take care of that body & get ready for combine-work IMO.
