Little Barry was sitting in his 2nd grade class one day

it was time for the 15-minute spelling/vocabulary lesson. One of the new words for the day was the word "dictate". The teacher asked one of Barry's classmates, Jimmy, to spell dictate. Jimmy confidently says D-I-C-T-A-T-E.
The teacher then asked, "can anyone use dictate properly in a sentence?"
Surprisingly Little Barry raises his hand to answer the question. This was odd because Barry had a speech impediment that made it uncomfortable for him to talk aloud in class. He was working with the speech teacher in the building but struggled to make the "S" sound prominently. The teacher says, "okay, Barry, what's your sentence?"
Barry puffs his chest out in his seat and speaks audibly, "hey y'all, how my dictate?"
