A football player at our school did the exact same thing in a pickup basketball game during our season. Doctors believed it was a hip labral tear. Luckily it was only partial and he got a cortisone shot and was back in a week and a half. If it had been full, it would require surgery.

Just speculating. Did he play / practice full after this fall in kU game?
