MPJ's mom and dad were both D1 athletes and his mom was a D1 star at Iowa. I'm pretty sure she understands the demands of college sports. Also, as devout Christians, if Michael's leg fell off tomorrow, they would just turn their focus to the rest of God's plan for Michael's life. Michael Porter, Jr. plays basketball but he is not just a basketball player.
