Tenn's pass D ranking was only based on total yards and not any sort of efficiency figure. It was only looking good from a yardage standpoint because their run D is almost the worst in the country giving up 267 yards per game prior to playing MU. Also prior to playing MU, SEC teams only attempted 23 passes per game against them.
Why pass when you can run so easily?
