I think it's ok to be excited about our 5-5 team.

We are one win away from going bowling.

I don't really care what bowl we get, but we have the chance to:
1. Finish the season with a winning record
2. Make a bowl game
3. Win a bowl game

Making/winning a bowl game help recruiting a lot more than 5-7 season. If we can recruit well, we will have continued success to beat the better teams. It all could be a sign of good things to come.

As far as beating the losing teams: Well yeah, you want to keep losing teams losing.
