Why is it trolling? It's unlikely to ever happen and, yea, we'd give up money but there are also a lot of plusses.

I'd be happy with a B1G move. It's far better cultural fit in terms of developing rivalries than the SEC and it's a collection of some of the academically best universities in the country lest we lose sight of why collegiate athletics exist in the first place.

It's also for the most part a midwestern conference which I think is a better fit for a midwestern state like Missouri. We play in the sec but I don't think we will ever truly be an sec school where life in the state (at least most of the sec states) somehow is all about how their football team does on Saturday. Mizzou will always be an outlier in the conference.
