They were a blue blood but they have lost it. They don’t have any recruiting advantage to ever get back to their pre-2000 level. A series of stupid hires and letting the OU rivalry slip away did them in. Dr Tom should have never accepted the Big 12 taking away the Thanksgiving weekend OU vs NU game.
