"Heat rises" -- What? Hot air rises. Heat cannot do work.
"Atmospheric heat does not sink into the oceans" -- what?? If the air in the Caribbean is WARMER than the sea in the Caribbean, does the water not absorb heat from the air? OFC it does.
"Seawater is warmed by direct sunlight" -- sure it does. Sea Water absorbs energy from the sun. So does the air (CO2). So does land. Land absorbs the most.
"Seawater absorbs heat directly from the sun and reflects very little of it" -- It depends on physical state of water and the angle at which solar radiation hits it. Sea water typically reflects ~6% while ice can reflect as much as 60%.
"That is why sea air is cooler than over land" -- No. Thermodynamics has much more to do with it than anything else, I assure you.
