and then someone spoke up about something that happened with Spacey 3 years ago.

Maybe Moore only had the one incident or it's false (unlikely seeing how much corroboration there is), but usually these incidents go on for years until someone speaks up. If Moore did this 30 years ago, its likely he also did it more recently.
