exists on other planets. Not only that, why do you think bacteria and viruses from other planets (and no human contact) would affect us physiologically?
Its a stretch to be worried about that at this point. And beyond that, protocol would be in place to study those factors before exposing ourselves.
And lastly, we are looking for habitable planets. Not ones that we show up and instantly take our helmets off and breathe the air perfectly. Would likely take decades or longer to terraform into Earth 2.0
