It's not a bad way to think as a coach.
Kind of a variation of 'next man up'.
But then the Grier thing happened and he kind of disinvited Grier and then Grier showed up at WV playing great.
Regardless FL has laid down the gauntlet, either you heil us as Hitler or we will fire your arse. We will fire you if you have a weird press conference. We will fire you if we just don't like you.
These SEC schools are so insane I fully expect one of them to eventually fire a coach the YEAR AFTER a Natty because of this or that.
They'll get there...
