That put a significant dent in recruiting along with general fan support. It took administration about 2 years to re establish itself. Combine that with the coaching changes and 3 AD's in about two years - you get the point.

The best way to recruit better is winning games. Odom needs to start winning games over the last four weeks of this season and get to a place where he is doing it consistently year over year.

Dan Mullen didn't finish over .500 in conference play until his 6th year at Mississippi State but he was consistently winning games. Pinkel didn't win more than 9 games until his 7th year here.

Eventually you can break through. Sure, sometimes a coach is able to do it overnight but if that simply cannot be what you demand because it's too rare to find easily.
