A staple of the board has been the "throw a lot of money" at a coach. Would suggest the ability to win will be as or very possibly more important to a coach looking at the Tiger job. And that not money is the problem. He be playing in the toughest conference in college football at a school who's resources and facilities are far from the best in the conference, a school who's natural recruiting base is not all that productive and coaching a program that has to compete against the baseball Cardinals, the Chiefs and the Royals for the time and attention of the state's sports fans. Yes, a lot of money is attractive and more money is even more so, but top coaches aren't motivated by just the dollars. They also want on the field success, a lot of it. Some would be well served to keep that in mind.
