after what we've been through with KA and BO?
You talk about saving millions by going cheap, but in the long run it ends up costing you more than it saves through plummeting ticket sales and fan apathy.
Conversely, hiring a proven HC pays for itself through the success and revenue it generates. Look at what's happened with our basketball program since firing KA and hiring an established D-1 head coach like Cuonzo Martin.
The best football coach we've hired in decades was an established FBS-level head coach with a successful track record. That's the kind of hire that gives you the best chance of success. I can't believe there are still people who haven't realized that yet.
