you are forcing them into a system, and then forcing new rules upon them. Why not let people choose what system they want and the insurance rates can vary for the services provided. If there is a public option, you get basic minimal care.

I have been learning a lot around human health lately, as a lot of human nutritionists have been speaking at the animal conferences I have been at, mainly around the guy and nutrition there. There is not a lot of evidence that the gut plays a big role in human health, and some of it may or may not be influenced by lifestyle or diet even.

the most interesting thing is that people trying to live in a "clean" environment are actually hurting themselves more in the long term, and they are finding big differences in health of people raised on a farm versus a city because of environmental exposure.
