Martin, Puryear and Porter were good representatives of the University of Missouri.

The SECN panel kept bringing back the veterans, Puryear, Phillips and Barnett, as being a forgotten piece of this year's team. They repeatedly mentioned how the team fought and was in most every game last year (Antoine Walker stood out in his comments). They asked Martin what to expect - he responded to play hard. I think Martin appreciates that work ethic instilled by Kim.

The big message driven home by Martin, wins will be as a team, not as individuals. He espoused players putting in time for school, for practice, for extra work on their own (which is something Kim said too).

The excitement is high based on (1) SEC Media days, (2) the buzz around the scrimmage and (3) the potential of the tall and athletic front line meshing with the veteran players.
