He'll start classes in January. The season starts a month later. Draft isn't until June. So worst-case scenario, there's about a month for him to change his mind after enrolling. The odds of that happening after already making the decision to enroll early seem quite low to me. Why even consider enrolling early if you're seriously contemplating the draft?

Seems to me that he'd made up his mind on attending college and didn't even want the distraction of the MLB draft. This effectively shuts that down for three years.

Unless he does make a complete change of mind.
