Suspect ur an academic type and have little feel for what happens in the private sector. I.e. Ever had to meet a payroll? Obama deluged the sector with admin regs. that we're just flat worthless. I.w. There were so many I.e. (18,000) in banking that nobody knew what they were, much less whether they were following them. Getting rid of them will add half a percent to GDP.
And despite what the climate change folks haven't convinced the country that climate change will occur, etc. Bluntly, the science isn't settled. If the science is settled then let's have a year long exposition & debate on it. A give & take. The American people aren't stupid. And if you can't convince them, maybe the science isn't settled. Till that happens all climate change is is another case of liberals telling us we're smarter than you, we know best, do it our way. And your not smarter, just more misguided.
