Both schools wanted to judge their fanbases' reaction to the game to decide if it should become an annual event. The hurricane relief was a great cause and a convenient excuse for testing the fanbases' response.

If the event is sold-out with only 9 days notice, I've heard both schools will likely make this an annual event in the next couple of years.
