Because when I say that I'm "cool as balls", I'm using balls are the top of the cool scale. That tends to be confusing when balls are typically warm.

Same thing with cnk saying I'm trying "hard as balls". Ball can often be soft, so was he saying I'm not trying very hard?

I'm not sure if I should be offended or not.
