He's still only 51 and is d-coordinator at tOSU. That's a big time level coordinator.
He's coached in the NFL, didn't do well, but I take his experience as head coach in the NFL as a positive not a minus. Gives him some cred probably with recruits.
His overall conference record at Rutgers was bad, but when you consider what he took over and making bowl games like 6 of his last 7 years or whatever it is impressive.
Missouri certainly is not the challenge Rutgers was. I imagine he wants another shot - don't know that for sure, but I don't hear his name come up too much either.
Might be a good fit.
