I still might try to see if she wants to adopt a 3 year old daughter in a few years since we only have sons.



I really like the idea of adopting and in my mind it is only egotism that keeps people from doing it instead of having their own.


Think of all the benefits

1) if you adopt at 3 or greater you have pretty much assured yourself your kid won't be defective.
2) if you adopt at 3 you don't have to go through the horrible horrible infant stage (it is horrible and anyone who says differently is either delusional, sadistic or a liar).
3) you also most likely miss the potty training stage.
4) Depending on who you adopt you can give a kid that has pretty much 0% chance at a comfortable life a great life.
5) You could get a Nigerian and turn him into a brutal athlete




There really is no pluses to having your own if you are rational and objective about it.
