A thorough clubbing by GA will tell us nothing - just like a thorough clubbing by Auburn should have told us nothing - no need for Odom's rant.
Even in our best years we could lose to those two schools, they have spent top tier money for decades.
Now, if we come out lifeless, listless and get clubbed by an undisciplined Kentucky team, that's more evidence of 'no progress.'
And you don't have to convince me on firing Odom. I never wanted him hired in the first place, and am simply treading water waiting for the consensus to build.
Even if he loses to Idaho/UConn but beats Arkansas? I think he's coming back. That's how low the bar has to be in year two...
