As an AD new to a school, Sterk is in a bad position of having to make decisions. It would be one thing if we'd had attendance of 30-40k average but that's not the case. If we'd been a 7 win team for the last 10 years, it would be easier. Odom was hired to plug the leak in the program and he's failed. We're a quarter into the season, and we've gotten worse from last season. Basketball is no longer our prime identity, though it could share the the light with football and compete with it for primacy.
Sterk will need to make a decision barring a dramatic turn of events.
Kentucky - Loss
Georgia - Loss
Idaho - should be a crappy win.
UConn - ????
Florida - Loss
Tennessee - Loss, may not be horrible or may be bad
Vanderbilt - Loss
Arkansas - Loss
assumptions: ship is out of control and other teams continue to play as they are
So I'm seeing a 3 win season?
Another problem I see is BO is a "this square block will fit in this round hole" kind of guy. He's not proactive, he's reactive. If he'd been given a good program, his first 2 years would be good, and then the drop you see with asst coaches when the program is a reflection of their direction.
He's not the guy
