Good for the Chiefs. They actually get grant dollars from the NFL for community involvement activities. Several boys in our Boy Scout troops had their Eagle Scout projects funded by the Chiefs via the NFL grant program.
A lot goes on in the background and we seldom hear of the activities in which players and their wives participate and donate time and money.
But have a Chiefs player get caught with drugs in a car stop and it will always make the front page news.
