ground out of Texas and into the South.
You just can't make inroads in a new region at the drop of a hat. 2013 and 2014 we still had a roster filled with players from Texas, and our recruiting pipelines there were getting better and better.
Then we just dropped that completely and tried to focus to the South...and that doesn't happen quickly.
I still don't know why we did that, it was a really bad decision and honestly it may have just set the program back a decade. We instantly regressed from what Pinkel took 15 year to build to where the program was when Pinkel took it over.
Bad, bad idea and its going to take us a long time to recover unless we can hire a coach that brings instant credibility and big time recruiting in the south.
