Speaking of coach's families and rabbit ears....

I was at the Tournament of Champions (or something like that) 4 team basketball tournament in Charlotte, NC in the late 80's.

We won the opener against Temple - North Carolina beat somebody - and then we got pummeled by North Carolina in the Championship game.

Bob Sundvold's wife was a hoot! Everytime someone from Carolina said something derogatory about Mizzou, she would give them the evil eye - one time, she jumped up and put her hands on her hips and glared at them. It was hilarious.

During the Temple game, we got off to a slow start - I made a comment that it looked like Norm had us prepared like he usually does in the Illinois games - and I was on the receiving end of the evil eye.

It's best if the coaches spouses put ear plugs in.......or something!
