here is being honest!
Missouri has been losing interest in the school as a whole not just football. Football programs when they have success gives the school national marketing they can't get otherwise. To a lessor degree so does the basketball program or even softball or baseball.
Fact is we've had the worst football, baseball, basketball is embarrassing, softball has fallen off and then you add on top of that the football players boycott.
The way to move past all this is to do exactly what Sterk did and fire KA then hire someone who knows what they're doing. You hire someone with experience not someone who learns on the job.
BO was a learn on the job coach that would be fine in the Mountain West. Why in the hell did the leaders of this university move out of the big 12 to the SEC if they didn't plan on competing? They built a new softball stadium but then hampered the coach.
Their baseball stadium is terrible but at least they hired new coaches. Time to invest in baseball.
You have probably the top basketball facilities in the nation but then you hire KA.
You plan on building a football only complex spending over 100 million yet you hire a coach with no experience. What gives here?
You have revolving door AD's.
It's time to build a football only complex because you're in the SEC but you need to hire an SEC level coach if you're going to even have a chance to have a 7-5 record year in and year out. No we don't want 7-5 but you can accept that this year maybe next year then get a 10-2 or a 9-4 or then 11-1 then back to 6-6 to a 8-5... not this once in a blue moon you're good then its 5 years of suffering. A new football complex is going to help with recruiting but even that can't save you if you don't hire a coach who can recruit and win.
Go ahead and give Barry another year after this one to roast away... his 2 star recruiting classes I'm sure is going to turn everything around next year. NOT!
Time to move on and I would SAVE BARRY from more suffering and start the process to build excitement in the program with recruits and fans alike.
And while you're at build a new baseball stadium to help that program.
