when more nat gas plants and cars are in operation, demand increases and supply drops, thereby increasing the costs of gas.

This is why I think Nuclear is a better solution than coal. As the study says, diverse sources of power is the best solution.

Wind, solar, hydro, nuclear, nat gas.
