Mizzou has a lot of new players playing on defense....both freshman and JUCO. I saw plenty of talent on defense and I even saw them make some plays.

Odom admitted after the game that he had the wrong defensive play call on and that was evident on the 3rd and 10 long TD run. They had no middle support for a draw play

You had a blown coverage where both the safety and corner bit on a short WR that led to a TD. You had 2 missed tackles on the 3rd and 24 play for 89 yard TD.
We had another blown coverage in the game as well. These things are all fixable.

I do not think Mizzou is going to be great on D, but I think we have the talent to put pressure on the QB and make plays and be an okay defense. We don't need to be great to win 8 games.
