As for the writing of the Bible taking place over 1500 years, that would mean there were additions added around the year 1000 AD. Does that make sense to you? That writing meant to cover the history of a people might have some historic folks in it makes some sense doesn't it.
Then we have the book used to prove the book. That's a clever trick too. The virgin birth? Did the book say that?
What archeological finds tell you is that book is old. If I wrote a fictional story about Richard Nixon and mentioned the Stones, future historians might find the Stones existed, but doesn't prove my story was true.
That Pilate existed is not in question. In fact historians hold that he had thousands and thousands of Jews crucified, govt terror a great way to keep folks in line. Now such a tyrant would never TALK to the convicts as your bible holds. Suggesting he would take the time to speak with let alone give one sht about this peasant is nuts
