Arkansas takes it's football and the University very seriously. In Arkansas, the Razorbacks are it. They have NOTHING else to hang their hats on in terms of sports. Any sports fan in the state will contribute their disposable income directly to the athletic department.

They don't compete with any MLB, NFL or NHL teams. They have some serious pride in all that the school does.

If you were born in raised in Arkansas, not matter where you end up going to school or if you even go, you are a Razorback fan and will contribute.

Missouri, not like that at all. Completely different case.
