and to what philosophers would call teleology.

I think homosexual acts clearly violate the purpose of sexuality, and are clearly harmful to the participants, and many would say to society at large.

There is also the matter of truth.

If there is a God, and

God created all things out of nothing, and

God has revealed that homosexual acts are a perversion of His creation, that it is sinful and that it is prohibited...

Then that would be a pretty good reason for refraining from such action, no?
