Well, there are the limitations that you and 'tgr' talked about below - http://tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=14985216

And do you get all the cable spinoff channels of FOX Sports, NBC Sports, etc., TNT, TBS, MLB Network, NFL Network, etc?... seems like a lot of the sports content I'm interested in ends up on one of those channels.

I guess if you get all of those networks, and you never have OTA blackouts, and it's all in a single package with a single remote, one set of networked DVRs, an onscreen guide, and available on all your devices, then you're getting a comparable service.
