I did not realize you were such an expert on this area. I think it has been way over-politicized and used as an agent to increase government regulations. But regardless, the evidence is pretty darn good out there. Do they have the precise proportions of exact causes...no they don't...has man factored into the changes...it most certainly has.
What should be done about it...I don't know...but to try to nullify the regulation argument by arguing that change (and pace of change) does not exist is foolish.
I would argue that the so-called effects of global warming (flooding, destruction) is caused more by humans trying to restrict things (i.e. putting dykes all around rivers) or where we build stuff (building on the edge of oceans, mountains known for floods, areas where forest fires are known, building next to a river).
