Religion says things like "Thou shalt not kill" and "Thou shalt not steal".

Some who eschew religion, like Nietzsche, felt that such moralisms made people weak. He felt that Übermensch wouldn't be constrained by such artificial religious constructs.

Pickle, et. al. don't think that you should use the government to impose your moral values... such as outlawing masturbation in public, owning kiddie porn etc. is prudish.
