the left is turning to these arguments because it's political agenda has failed and it is seeking to divert attention for its shortcomings.
1. Its economic policies haven't produced sufficient growth and wealth to keep very large numbers of folks from falling behind.
2. Its foreign policy has produced a world in which North Korea has nuclear weapons. Add Iran very soon. It's Middle Eastern policies have given us ISIS, an organization seeking to purge the world of all Christens.
3. In domestic matters, eight years of the left's darling, Obama, gave us Obamacare, a Rube Goldberg construction that is a disaster happening each and every day.
Bottom line is the Left has failed and is trying to divert attention form those failures.
