Perpetuating the welfare state has a higher priority.
It wouldn't be the rampant black on black violence and murder rate which puts us at or near the top of murder rates in developed nations.
Seeing that the poor have available and free access to abortions has a higher priority.
It wouldn't be housing and feeding our nation's homeless who are living on the streets.
Importing Syrian refugees and illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America and seeing to it they are provided all the social services available to them has a higher priority.
