The US has this funny idea that only they can determine who can or cannot have certain defense weapons. The MAD system in place through the cold war was effective. I see no reason it cannot will not remain so though other players enter the game. I have supported Iran's pursuit of nukes from day one. We don't decide how or whether other people defend themselves. The fact that we are the only nation to deploy these weapons should be kept in mind.
That Obama chose not to escalate tensions with N Korea is a good and not a bad thing.
