and she's fighting to get the laptop back from the police chief after Amran is caught fleeing the country.

She goes through a budget meeting implying they're going to have problems over their hiring practices etc. and threatens the police chief that there will be consequences at the end of the meeting.

and first her story was that it was her laptop. Then later to the police chief she kept calling it a "member's" laptop, implying that it was the laptop of a member of congress, rather than her IT staffer accused of hacking secure information from government databases. Finally, she was just asserting that it wasn't hers and she had no idea what was on it... but if they checked it out... there will be consequences.
