exponential since then, it's kind of how it's designed to work.

It takes much, much more power to create a bitcoin today than it did 5 years ago. Talking orders of magnitude more power.

10 years ago you could probably churn out a bitcoin per hour with a home PC. Then 5 years ago it was like a bitcoin per week.

Now its probably like a bitcoin per year
