...if you take out a terrible stretch in football from 84 to 95, and the awful 3 seasons in basketball under Kim Anderson.

But there's been some stretches when Mizzou was top 10 in football (back in the 1960s, then again in 2007-08 and then again in 2013-14), and in basketball (around 1980 through 1994 was our heyday, but we've had a couple of elite 8's since then).

It's looking like the basketball program is poised for another run.

I don't know about football though.
