of all the "trump is an idiot" conversation said that the people who voted for him see him as plain spoken, as opposed to professorial, focus group tested BS.. (My words.)
They were discussing his comments about the cops being sooooo concerned about criminals bumping their heads when they put a crook in the cop car. The panel took turns saying how terrible that comment was. One of them listed about six cities whose police chief decried trump's comments. We have to take care to not injure american citizens...that kinda thing.
Trump's comment was tongue in cheek anyway. But still, cows were had.
As you said, finding a way to be offended.
But millions of people, me for one, liked him standing with the cops and against the criminals. Plain spoken.
I think the media hurts themselves with the constant trump bashing, at least with trump's base.
