really great recruiting ability. He does not seem to be enough of a salesman capable of generating excitement about Missouri Basketball for a young player. Doubt he is much of a deal closer either. Can you imagine the sales pitch from KA compared to better recruiters like Calipari? I think KA can coach but you have got to recruit at the top level to compete in D1. We have also not had enough good, mature players to compete and our young players were not good enough to come right in and be good enough to win. You can't win with 3 star freshmen and sophomores. When the losses started piling up, recruiting was hopeless for KA and that is why he had to go.
